The new-look Bloc Party will play their first UK dates as part of a European tour later this year.
The band recently unveiled their new line-up at two shows in the US during August, with bassist Justin Harris and drummer Louise Bartle joining the group in the place of the recently departed Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong.
With the band recently confirming that they have finished recording their next album, Bloc Party will now tour Europe in November and December. UK dates will take place in Manchester and London on December 3 and 4. Tickets go on sale on Friday (September 4).
Bloc Party will play the following live dates:
Amsterdam, Paradiso (November 27)
Koln, Live Music Hall (28)
Berlin, Astra Kulturhaus (29)
Paris, Alhambra (December 1)
Brussels, Cirque Royal (2)
Manchester, Albert Hall (3)
London, St John At Hackney (4)
Bloc Party played two intimate gigs at The Glass House in Pomona on August 19 and The Roxy in Los Angeles on August 20.
The Pomona show marked the first outing for the new members. Frontman Kele Okereke told the crowd: "It's quite a weird and emotional feeling for us because it's our first performance [together]."
Okereke also confirmed that they've finished the work for the next LP, what will be the group's fifth record. "We just finished recording our new album and we're going to play new songs from it," he said.
Bloc Party played new songs – thought to be called 'Eden' and 'Exes' respectively' – at the gigs. Watch footage of the performances at the Pomona gig below.
